Vaccination
Vaccinations/Immunisations are a way of preventing your baby from various diseases such as polio, measles, etc. Some of the vaccinations/immunisations are highly protective whereas some are not as protective. Vaccination/Immunisation against diseases like Polio are exteremely important to prevent not only your child from contracting this deadly and crippling disease, but also from a society's point of view. Immunisation in India is even more important considering the widespread possibility of contracting a disease. Immunisation is better as there is no cure for diseases like Polio.
Vaccintation/Immunisation schedules vary from place to place, however there are standard vaccinations that EVERY child must get at a bare minimum. Most of the essential vaccinations are available free of cost at all Govt centers.
