On a lighter note, Our doctors saw a rag picker boy among the crowd. Being a maration for helping street children this intrigued them and they interviewed him. The Chennai heat had resulted in the runners drinking a lot water from plastic water sachets that were later discarded. The boy was collecting these packets to sell them. He told that he would make a mere Rs 3/- if he collected a sack full of plastic covers. The irony was that the marathon was helping him more ways :)
